Found a very interesting article in the New York Times called Paying with our sins.

Basically it covers all the vices and how they can be legalized and taxed to provide additional revenue to run the United Stated in terms of reducing debt and funding project where money is most needed.

The vices to be taxed and regulated as everyone probably knows are gambling, drugs (including marijuana), sex (prostitution) and liquor. Well although the article is very brave in showing how money can be used to help the USA profit from these activities, it does not mention their negative effects and the money that would be required to help minimise those unwanted outcomes such as sex addiction.

Perhaps not the best idea to legalize all the the main vices, the New York Time certainly did pull together some very information material.
