Scientists working for the government have been analysing samples of marijuana given to them after seizures of the illegal drug and found that the psychoactive ingredient, THC, has climbed for the last three decades.

The scientists have have found some marijuana that had a potency level of almost 30% THC and predict that on average these level will rise to about 15% in the next 5 to 10 years.

It is for these reasons that the UK had re-classed the drug back to class B and this evidence just not suggest that marijuana will be legalized in the USA any time soon.
